Speech-language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Certificate Program

This certificate is offered in Sugar Land by UH. The SLPA Certificate Program prepares students to provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a certified speech-language pathologist in a variety of work settings. Graduates of the SLPA certificate program will be eligible for licensure in the State of Texas as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). The program is designed for individuals who have already achieved a Bachelor's Degree in another discipline. However, it is possible that Communication Sciences and Disorders undergraduates may petition to add the SLPA certificate program to their undergraduate plan. VOICE-Victoria Online Initial Certification for Educators

VOICE-Victoria Online Initial Certification for Educators
University of Houston - Victoria

The VOICE program is an online accelerated route to teacher certification for all grades. Students already holding a bachelor degree can finish teacher certification in one year or by spreading course work over three years for the practicum route. Participants can work as paid teachers while they complete their courses or select the practice teaching option.
