Degrees at UHSL
You can shape your future by achieving your higher education goals close to your home or work at the University of Houston Sugar Land (UHSL). We make earning a college degree convenient. You can meet one-on-one with an advisor and attend class, all without visiting a university campus across town.
UHSL offers the combined resources of the UH System: University of Houston, UH-Clear Lake, and UH-Victoria. These institutions (the home universities) offer junior, senior, and graduate courses at our center leading to more than thirty bachelor's and master's degrees in applied arts and sciences, biology, business administration, computer science, criminal justice, and education.
The UHSL partners with Houston Community College, Wharton County Junior College, and other area community colleges. These working relationship with community colleges provide a seamless transition for anyone seeking a university degree.
Home University
Your home university is the degree granting university within the UH System that is delivering your academic program. This will be the University of Houston, UH-Clear Lake, or UH-Victoria. The home university is where you:
- apply to be admitted to your academic program
- register for classes
- pay your tuition
- receive financial aid
