Financial Aid & Scholarships
In addition to home university scholarships, students attending classes in Sugar Land may be eligible for private donor scholarships. These scholarships are designated for students who are taking at least half of their classes in Sugar Land.
To apply, students need to fill out the Sugar Land Scholarship Application, which can be found under the news section of our homepage. The application for the next academic year is available during the months of January through April. In addition to the application, students must submit a personal essay, recent letters of recommendation, and other documents for verification purposes.
The scholarships are selected by a committee of staff in the UH System. Recipients are notified of the selection in July. Scholarship funds are transfered to student accounts at the home universities in September. If you have further questions, please contact the Student Services Coordinator.
